The senseless and shocking death of George Floyd triggered one of the biggest (and most necessary) global protests in history, putting the Black Lives Matter movement in the spotlight like never before. But with this tragedy also came the birth of Black Minds Matter U.K — a charitable fund set up just days later, designed to connect Black individuals and families with free, professional, mental health resources and services — including up to 12 sessions of therapy with a certified, culturally competent, Black therapist.
